Happy New Year!

The Residential Market Development team is looking forward to working hard in 2009 to keep striving toward our goal of transforming the residential construction market and making green homes affordable and available within a generation.

USGBC Expands Homes Provider Network

To help meet the ever-increasing demand for LEED for Homes verification support, the Residential Market Development team is happy to welcome 7 organizations into the nationwide LEED for Homes Provider network. The new LEED for Homes Providers will undergo training in the first quarter of 2009, and will be ready to begin working with LEED for Homes project teams shortly thereafter. Provider organizations are selected through a competitive RFQ process, and are chosen based on their demonstrated knowledge of green residential construction and their ability to train and manage a team of green raters.

See the list of our new Providers in the right sidebar, and a complete list of our 36 existing LEED for Homes Provider organizations on our website.
